GALLERY
The whole of the Hotel is a permanent
art gallery with objects of different artists
and disciplines - mainly abstract expressionism
– represented in all the rooms of the Hotel
and in the garden.
“
In the Haldón paintings, I try to express
personal processes or states of mind. I express
these emotions in the relation between surfaces,
figures or colour spots, or in a process of the
adaptation of space by drawing marks, as if it
were a ploughing field labourer or a tribal tattoo
painter.
The collection consists of 22 paintings of 2,50
x 0,80 m, realized in acrylic painting on untreated
brown canvas.
Each painting belongs to a room in the hotel.
They come without a frame and occupy the space
of the headboards."
